Los Veranos is Boca de Tomatlán’s closest village neighbor—an easy 15 minutes east on Hwy 200 from Villa La Sirena, making it one of the most convenient day-trip spots near Puerto Vallarta.
Although Los Veranos looks unassuming from the highway, hidden within its boundaries are top adventure activities in Puerto Vallarta, especially for travelers staying in Boca de Tomatlán vacation rentals. Many Puerto Vallarta visitors travel much farther—by bus, boat, or jungle trucks—to experience what you can easily reach from the Villa.
The main attractions include:
Los Veranos Canopy Ziplining & Adventure Park
Vallarta Botanical Gardens
Near these popular sites are several local Mexican restaurants: La Cav, Casa de Robles, and Carmen’s Tacos. More upscale dining is available at Hacienda de Oro inside the Botanical Gardens.
Those staying at Villa La Sirena Boca de Tomatlán can enjoy breakfast or lunch at these spots and easily return to the Villa to relax on the terrace.
A Perfect Day: Adventures + Nature + Local Food, Boca de Tomatlán
If you’re a Boca traveler with limited vacation time and a big Mexico adventures bucket list, you can fit both Vallarta Botanical Gardens and Los Veranos Canopy Zipline into a single day.
Start your morning with a traditional Mexican breakfast at La Cav or Casa de Robles, enjoy an adrenaline-filled day of ziplining, then stroll through the lush Botanical Gardens. Afterward, stop for a late lunch—or head back toward the Villa and stop at Carmen’s Tacos, which opens at 6:30 pm.
This loop makes Los Veranos one of the best day trips and adventures from Boca de Tomatlán.
